Artist's Comments

This is my first submission to a competition, for the Dynasty Warriors club here.
Done in chalk pastels (like my last pic), but the total opposite in every way. I thought I'll give myself a challenge by drawing something non-cute and masculine, and I rarely ever do anthro. I had to look up references for bulls (maybe I could've changed Dian-Wei's axes head) and his costume.
Besides from the, ugh,.. horrible legs, and pastels aren't ideal for detail, I'm content with the result.

Very nice. its always cool to see another DW fan! i like the bull reference with dian wei and his weapon names. keep it up!

An awesome work allround, the little finger on the right hand looks a bit strange though. Reprasenting the DW Community with style.

Thanks for your comments! Damn someone spotted that!:doh: Actually I know thats one of the weaker parts, I wasn't sure what to do with that hand after I put his axe in the other hand ^^;
